ABOUT VALLÅSENS VÄRDSHUS
We are happy to offer our Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training in southern Sweden, at the countryside inn Vallåsens Värdshus.
Elin's sisters and brother-in-law, Mimi, Moa and Freddie, run the place since a couple of years back. Before that, her parents ran it for many years. Both Elin and Lisa have hosted retreats and events here for years. Vallåsens Värdshus is a tight family business, with strong values, a rich history and a unique aesthetic and flair. It's located in the forest, with direct access to trails. All rooms have a view of the trees and a strong connection to the surroundings. The interior is a mix of handmade details in all natural materials, Scandinavian 60s and 70s design and lots of personality.
The rooms are twin, all unique and all with private bath, and they can also be used as a single room (limited availability). During your stay, you'll have access to a guest kitchen for your own snacks and tea, a sauna and a big social area with a fireplace. There is wifi throughout the venue. As a group we have plenty of space indoors and outside, as well as semi-outside in the glass covered greenhouse area.
We'll be well taken care of by the team at Vallåsens Värdshus. Moa is known for amazing and innovative vegetarian food, where especially in September you can expect a lot of ingredients from their own garden. You'll literally see her harvesting herbs and vegetables, wild berries and mushrooms right outside the kitchen door.
The direct access to the hiking and running trails will give you a chance to get out into nature quickly, which is always a beautiful thing in an intensive training. In addition, a grocery store is within walking distance, and the coast and a couple of cute towns are about 20 minutes away by car.
September is an amazing month in southern Sweden, with the warm summer shifting towards crisp fall. It's also harvest season, with lots of local produce and a chance to forage in the forest.

To host a training at my family's little place is a dream come true for me. I love all the natural materials, the attention to detail and the immediate peace that comes over me when I'm there. It's a perfect place for a yoga teacher training.
